27th December 2009 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 20-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2-3 foot surf Air Temperature: 6ºC Sea Temperature: 9ºC Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Couldn't decide between MTBing or windsurfing but as there was wind went for a windsurf first. Nicely powered on my Naish Hybrid Freewave and a 5.6m sail. No-one else around and as usual it was bigger out there than it looked. Had some good runs though and managed to snap two harness lines in the process. Luckily I had spares on the beach so it wasn't too much trouble to swap them over. It wasn't too cold and the wind was good. Not a bad way to burn off some Xmas turkey. |
